Crime to Rise

We've said it before on this forum. This story from PInow.com talks about an increase in shoplifting from retail establishments.

The U.S. is not alone in this projected crime wave. World economies are suffering and unfortunately people will turn to crime more quickly.

While this may be something "positive" for security companies who have to hire more staff to thwart the thieves, it is bad for the economy on the whole as heavier losses by the Retail Industry will force them to push prices even higher.
